Thomas, now 58, Scott, now 54, and Brad, now 53, fondly remember their father as a pillar of strength and a constant source of encouragement. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Anne Misanko and his infant son, David. He felt blessed to be part of such a loving, caring faith family and drew his strength from them. Tom was an active member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. He also enjoyed hunting, woodworking, and traveling to Florida to spend time with his grandchildren. Tom worked at B&W as a mechanical engineer where he enjoyed participating in their golf, bowling, and softball leagues. He graduated from Garfield High School and earned his Associate's Degree from the University of Akron. Born in Akron, he lived the last thirty years in Uniontown. He lost the fight after being diagnosed with brain cancer in May. Tom valiantly battled leukemia for the last 14 years. Misanko, age 74, passed away in his home Septemsurrounded by his family.
